Family Therapy

Family therapy is a form of psychotherapy that is designed to help families work through their difficulties, improve communication, and resolve conflicts.  Family therapy recognizes that a challenge or conflict with a specific family member affects a number of people, not just one person, so the solution involves the entire family.  Family therapy can help reduce tension that may arise from having a family member with ADHD.  Sometimes more than one member of a family has ADHD.  Throughout the process of family therapy, multiple family members learn how to collaborate with each other and become a unit of support for each other.
